General Terms and Conditions of Sale 

SHIPPING

Our plants are dispatched from our premises and travel at the recipient’s risk. In the event of loss, damage or any other issue, the recipient alone is responsible for submitting any claim to the carrier.

Our parcels are sent using the postal service known as “COLISSIMO”, thereby ensuring that the plants remain fresh and in good condition. Larger consignments may be sent by express delivery.

Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. If the customer specifies a delivery date, we will endeavour to meet it, without being held liable, even if that date has been confirmed by us. Fulfilment may be delayed due to adverse weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond our control.

DELIVERY TIMES

Orders are dispatched once the rhizomes have reached the required level of maturity.

Iris shipments should begin around 16 July and end in late October. Daylilies are shipped from mid-August to late April, while herbaceous peonies are shipped from early September to late February.

Peonies are carefully selected and packed to ensure that they travel safely and arrive in impeccable condition.

We recommend ordering early so that you can plant your irises sooner and reserve your chosen varieties.

PAYMENT

Payment in full at the time of ordering is mandatory.

Our prices are stated in euros and include VAT. They are based on current economic conditions and may be revised if those conditions change significantly, for example, following a change in the VAT rate.

SHIPPING COSTS

For orders under €50, the shipping charge is €9.50.

For orders between €50 and €150, the shipping charge is €11.50.

Shipping is free for orders of €150 or more.

OTHER CONDITIONS

If one or more items are out of stock at the time of ordering or delivery, we will refund the amount paid for those items no later than the time of delivery, unless a replacement has been requested. Please complete the replacement section on the order form.

Exceptionally, for all selections included in this catalogue, we reserve the right to replace unavailable varieties without prior notice with similar varieties of equal or greater value, at no additional cost.

We supply only healthy, flowering-size plants, provided they are planted at the appropriate time and under suitable conditions. They are labelled and carefully packaged.

In accordance with customary practice, and because successful growth depends not only on our supplies but also on growing conditions beyond our control, we cannot be held responsible for possible mix-ups or unsuccessful cultivation.

However, if a fault on our part becomes apparent, we will accept justified claims submitted within six months following receipt of the parcel.

In such cases, our liability shall not exceed the replacement or full refund of the goods. This clause constitutes a full and final release from any further liability.

As the printing of illustrations is beyond our control, we cannot be held responsible for their accuracy.

DISPUTES

The courts of Blois, in the Loir-et-Cher department, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute.
