How does fruit picking at the farm work?
When you arrive at the farm:
Â
- Your containers (baskets, boxes, etc.) are weighed empty.
- You can then pick your fruit freely among the fields and forests.
- After picking, the tare weight is deducted from the total weight of your harvest.
The average picking rate is approximately 3 kg per hour.
Â
Â
The fruit is picked by hand, in clusters, from bushes measuring approximately 1.5 to 2 metres in height.
